SpaceX Prepares for Third Starship Test Flight
Elon Musk’s SpaceX is gearing up for its third test flight of the Starship spacecraft, set to launch from the company’s Boca Chica launchpad near Brownsville, Texas. This uncrewed test flight, scheduled for March 13, 2024, will see the next-generation Starship atop its powerful Super Heavy rocket taking to the skies.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has given SpaceX the green light for this mission by granting the necessary launch license. The FAA confirmed that SpaceX has met all safety, environmental, policy, and financial responsibility requirements for the launch.
The launch window is set between 8 a.m. ET and 9:50 a.m. ET on Thursday, and SpaceX plans to livestream the event, with the webcast starting 30 minutes before the launch window opens.

The second test flight in November saw the rocket reaching space before being intentionally destroyed due to issues.
