Additionally, over half (56%) believe that these individuals are responsible for the rising crime rates in communities across the country. It’s evident that the issue goes beyond just politics and extends to concerns about the economic impact and safety of American communities.
It’s important to note that Americans are not against immigration as a whole, but rather the influx of illegal migrants that are straining state and city budgets. The chaos that has ensued in Sanctuary Cities is a clear example of the challenges that arise from uncontrolled immigration. This is why a significant portion of the population (68%) believe that illegal migrants are causing “major problems” in communities.
One of the key promises in the upcoming elections is President Trump’s pledge to carry out the “largest domestic deportation operation in American history.” While this may be a controversial stance, it reflects the concerns of many Americans who are looking for solutions to the ongoing migrant crisis.
