In 2023, Vietnam emerged as the third-largest gainer in global cryptocurrency adoption, trailing only behind the U.S. and the UK, with gains totaling nearly $1.18 billion. With approximately 17% of the Vietnamese population actively engaging with cryptocurrencies, the nation has embraced digital assets, with crypto serving as a gateway to inclusive financial services.
Driving Educational Initiatives
As part of this collaboration, key initiatives include hosting educational conferences in major cities like Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City to educate communities on the potential of digital finance. Moreover, Tether will support the VBA’s UniTour Program, providing educational content in partnership with the Academy of Blockchain and AI Innovation (ABAII) to inspire university students about AI and blockchain technologies.
