Rivian, Micron Technology, Adobe, Ulta Beauty and many others

The stock market is constantly in flux, with companies experiencing ups and downs on a daily basis. In premarket trading, some companies are making significant moves that could impact their stock prices throughout the day.

One such company is Rivian Automotive, an electric vehicle manufacturer whose stock rose nearly 4% after receiving an upgrade from Piper Sandler. The firm increased its price target on Rivian, predicting a 96% upside potential from the previous day’s close. Analysts cited Rivian’s new product launch and strategic decision-making as reasons for the upgrade.

Micron Technology, a semiconductor company, also saw a 2.5% increase in its stock price after being named one of Citi’s top picks. With a higher price target set by the bank, Micron is expected to see a 64% upside. Citi believes that Micron’s focus on artificial intelligence technology deserves a premium valuation.

On the other hand, Adobe’s stock fell 11% following weaker revenue guidance for the current quarter. Despite surpassing earnings and revenue expectations for the previous quarter, investors were wary of the company’s future performance. Ulta Beauty also experienced a decline in its stock price after issuing lower-than-expected earnings guidance for the year.

Cryptocurrency-related stocks took a hit as bitcoin prices fell from their recent highs. Companies like Coinbase, Microstrategy, and Marathon Digital all saw declines in their stock prices. However, there were some positive movers in the market, such as Cardlytics, whose stock surged 50% after reporting positive earnings for the first time since 2019.
