Mizuho’s April stock picks feature home retailers and an energy company

Welcome to Extreme Investor Network, where we provide you with the latest and most valuable insights in the world of investing. Today, we are excited to share Mizuho’s top stock picks for April, featuring home retailers, an energy company, and the ever-popular Nvidia.

Mizuho, a respected Wall Street firm, has highlighted 24 of its highest-conviction bets across six sectors for the month of April. Among the latest additions are Lowe’s Companies, Wayfair, and Carnival, with a particularly bullish outlook on Chevron.

One of the standout picks from Mizuho is Lowe’s Companies. Analyst David Bellinger believes that the North Carolina-based retailer is well-positioned for the recovering home improvement demand, leading to significant earnings expansion. Mizuho’s price target on Lowe’s reflects a potential 16% upside from the current closing price.

Chevron is another stock that Mizuho is more positive on compared to the rest of the Street. Despite recent underperformance, analyst Nitin Kumar expects the acquisition of Hess Corp. to act as a catalyst for the stock. Kumar’s price target on Chevron suggests a 24% upside from Wednesday’s close.

Nvidia, a familiar favorite, remains a top pick for Mizuho. Analyst Vijay Rakesh is confident in the chipmaker’s ability to maintain its market leadership in a growing industry. With the market expected to expand tenfold in the next five years, Nvidia continues to be a promising investment opportunity.

In addition to these picks, Mizuho also highlighted Intuit and Meta Platforms as top choices for investors looking to diversify their portfolios.
