Let’s start with the Asian markets, where we saw a mixed day for major stock exchanges. The Nikkei 225 in Japan saw a slight increase, while the Shanghai market decreased slightly. The Hang Seng in Hong Kong saw a significant increase, and the Kospi in South Korea also experienced a rise. In terms of currency markets, the Australian dollar and New Zealand dollar both saw increases against the US dollar, while the Japanese yen and Chinese yuan saw decreases.

Turning our attention to Europe and the Middle East, we saw a negative day for major stock markets such as the CAC 40 in France, the FTSE 100 in the UK, and the DAX 30 in Germany. However, the European currency markets saw gains, with the Euro and British Pound both increasing against the US dollar.

In the US and Americas, the US market saw declines across the board, with the Dow, S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Russell 2000 all experiencing losses. In Canada, both the TSX Composite and TSX 60 saw declines, while the Bovespa in Brazil saw a modest gain.

In the energy markets, oil prices experienced a positive day, with both crude oil and Brent seeing increases. Natural gas, gasoline, and heating oil also saw gains.

Looking at the top commodity gainers and losers, we saw Natural Gas, Silver, Platinum, and Coffee as the top gainers, while Cotton, Corn, Wheat, and Lumber saw losses.

Lastly, in the bond market, we observed changes in yields for various countries, including Japan, the US, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Portugal, Spain, and the UK.
