Let’s start with Asia, where we saw a mix of gains and losses in the major stock markets. The NIKKEI 225 and SENSEX declined, while Shanghai and ASX 200 showed gains. In the currency markets, USDJPY saw an increase, while AUDUSD and NZDUSD fluctuated.

Moving on to Europe/EMEA, the CAC 40 and DAX 30 showed upticks, while the FTSE 100 declined. EURUSD and GBPUSD also saw fluctuations in the currency markets.

In the US/Americas, the Dow, S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Russell 2000 all declined. Similarly, the TSX Composite and TSX 60 in Canada, as well as the Bovespa in Brazil, experienced losses.

In the energy sector, oil prices saw a negative trend with both Crude Oil and Brent declining. Natural gas, gasoline, and heating oil also showed decreases.

When it comes to commodities, Coffee and Rice were among the top gainers, while Natural Gas and Palm Oil were among the top losers.

Lastly, in the bond market, we saw fluctuations in yields for various countries including the US, Japan, Italy, and Spain.
