How Does Michigan Have More Voters Than Eligible Citizens?

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is under scrutiny once again as it was recently uncovered that 53 out of 83 counties in the state have more registered voters than eligible voting residents. Additionally, 23 counties have a suspiciously high voter registration rate of 90%, which is well above the national average. The Republican National Committee (RNC) has filed a lawsuit against Benson, demanding answers and accountability.

The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) mandates that states maintain accurate voter information and remove ineligible voters due to death, address changes, or other reasons. Michigan has a history of failing to comply with the NVRA, as evidenced by a previous lawsuit in 2020 where one county had registration rates exceeding 100% of the voting-age population and 15 counties had rates above 90%. Despite the Secretary of State canceling the registration of 177,000 voters, no one was held accountable and voter fraud continued to be a significant issue.

One particularly egregious case involved 26,000 deceased voters being registered to vote in Michigan during the 2020 election, with one person who passed away in 1990 somehow being registered to vote in 2020. Despite lawsuits highlighting these instances of voter fraud, the courts have often sided with Benson, dismissing claims of inadequate voter registration practices.

This situation is a clear example of voter fraud at the state level, with attempts to manipulate elections and deny citizens their fundamental right to vote for their elected officials. The establishment’s actions to alter election outcomes and undermine democratic processes are deeply concerning.

It is likely that similar issues exist in other states with suspiciously high voter registration rates, and further investigation by the RNC may reveal more instances of voter fraud and attempts to manipulate elections. As we approach the upcoming elections, it is crucial to ensure the integrity of the voting process and hold officials accountable for maintaining fair and accurate voter information.
