Disney will act as the distributor, collecting subscription fees and paying out Warner Bros. Discovery a percentage.
This partnership between Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery is the latest in a series of collaborations between the two media giants. Earlier this year, they also announced a sports streaming service, set to launch in the fall. Additionally, Disney has been offering its streaming services – Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ – as a bundle for some time now.
With Max priced at $9.99 a month with ads or $15.99 without, and Disney+ offering a basic tier for $7.99 per month (or $9.99 bundled with Hulu), this new bundle is sure to provide excellent value for subscribers. Hulu, which offers plans starting at $7.99 with ads or $17.99 ad-free, will also be included in this exciting new offering from Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery.
