In Asia, the major stock markets showed mixed performances. The NIKKEI 225 experienced a decrease, while the Shanghai and Hang Seng indices saw increases. The currency markets in Asia also displayed a mix of movements, with AUDUSD and USDJPY increasing, while NZDUSD and USDCNY decreased.

In Europe, the stock markets also had a mixed day, with the CAC 40 and DAX 30 decreasing, while the FTSE 100 increased. The currency markets in Europe showed similar mixed movements, with changes in EURUSD, GBPUSD, and USDCHF.

Moving on to the Americas, the US market closings saw declines in the Dow, S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Russell 2000 indices. Meanwhile, in Canada, the TSX Composite advanced, while the TSX 60 declined. In Brazil, the Bovespa also saw a decline.

In the energy sector, the oil markets experienced a mixed day, with both crude oil and Brent prices increasing, while natural gas decreased. Top commodity gainers included Copper and Orange Juice, while top commodity losers included Sugar and Cotton.

Finally, in the bond market, we saw movements in various yields including Japan, US, Bunds, France, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Portugal, Spain, and UK Gilts.
