Let’s start with Asia, where we saw a mixed day in the major stock markets. The NIKKEI 225 and ASX 200 decreased, while the Shanghai and Kospi saw gains. In the currency markets, the AUDUSD and NZDUSD increased, while the USDJPY and USDCNY had mixed movements.

Moving on to Europe/EMEA, major stock markets experienced a negative day, with the CAC 40, FTSE 100, and DAX 30 all decreasing. The EURUSD and USDCHF had mixed movements in the currency markets.

In the US/Americas, the Dow closed slightly down, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq saw gains. In Canada, the TSX Composite and TSX 60 declined, and the Bovespa in Brazil also closed lower.

In the energy markets, crude oil and Brent both decreased, along with natural gas, gasoline, and heating oil. Top commodity gainers included oat, coal, platinum, and coffee, while cotton, sugar, cheese, and natural gas saw losses.

Finally, in the bond markets, we saw fluctuations in yields for various countries, with Japan, US, Germany, France, Italy, and others all experiencing changes.
