RockFi Secures €18 Million to Redefine Wealth Management

In a significant step towards reshaping the wealth management landscape, RockFi, a promising fintech player, has successfully raised €18 million (approximately $19.45 million) in a Series A funding round spearheaded by Partech. This injection of capital marks a milestone in RockFi’s journey, coming less than a year after the company secured €3 million in its initial fundraising efforts.

A Diverse Investment Network

The recent funding round was not just a solo endeavor. RockFi benefitted from the participation of existing investor Varsity, along with notable business angels including Aurthur Waller and Félix Blosser—co-founders of the successful Pennylane—and Mark Ransford, the former managing director of Apax UK. Such backing reflects the strong belief in RockFi’s potential to make waves in the wealth management sector.

Bold Expansion Plans

With this new funding, RockFi seeks to accelerate its growth strategy, aiming to manage €1 billion in assets by the end of 2026. The company’s vision is to revolutionize private wealth management through a unique, technology-driven approach, coupled with a network of independent private bankers. Established in 2023 in France by industry veterans Pierre Marin, Marie Bedu, and Maxime Durand, along with other former private banking executives, RockFi is well-positioned to lead this charge.

CEO Pierre Marin emphasizes, “We want to breathe new life into private wealth management, to reinvigorate the careers of those who shape it and enhance the assets of our clients.”

The company’s team has expanded to 50 employees, including 25 dedicated private bankers, operating out of six offices across France.

In the coming year, RockFi has ambitious plans to recruit an additional 50 private bankers and establish one new office per month in cities like Nice, Cannes, Toulouse, Rennes, and Strasbourg. The tech team can also expect to grow, with plans to double its current workforce of 12 engineers to enhance monitoring and reporting capabilities.

The Road Ahead

As part of this funding increase, Philippe Collombel, co-founder and general partner at Partech, will join RockFi’s board of directors. He expressed confidence in the company’s trajectory, stating, “We are delighted to support RockFi in this new phase of its growth.
