Ford’s Electric Vehicle Benefits Program Seeks to Drive Higher Sales

At Extreme Investor Network, we are always on the lookout for the latest trends and innovations in the business world. Recently, Ford Motor Company has announced a new program that aims to boost sales of its electric vehicles by addressing potential customer concerns.

The “Ford Power Promise” program offers a range of benefits for customers who purchase or lease a new Ford EV, such as the F-150 Lightning pickup truck or Mustang Mach-E crossover. One of the key features of the program is free home-charging installation, which aims to relieve financial burdens associated with owning an electric vehicle.

According to Marin Gjaja, chief operating officer for Ford’s Model e EV business, the goal of the program is to serve customers well and provide them with confidence in the durability and life of the battery. In addition to free home-charging installation, the program also includes complimentary 24-hour advisor service and roadside assistance for five years or 60,000 miles.

Ford’s program comes at a time when EV sales are growing at a slower rate than expected, due to concerns such as costs, charging infrastructure, and range anxiety. The company hopes that by addressing these concerns, they can attract more mass market buyers to their electric vehicles.

In addition to the benefits offered through the program, Ford is also ramping up information around its existing 8-year or 100,000-mile battery warranty, which covers all of the vehicle’s high voltage system. This warranty is an industry standard that many consumers were previously unaware of.

Overall, Ford’s “Ford Power Promise” program is a strategic move to attract more customers to their electric vehicles and address common concerns associated with EV ownership. At Extreme Investor Network, we believe that staying informed about industry developments such as this can help investors make more informed decisions about their portfolio.
