Applications Now Open for Fifth Cohort of Ethereum Protocol Fellowship

At Extreme Investor Network, we are thrilled to share the latest news about the Ethereum Protocol Fellowship (EPF) opening applications for its fifth cohort. This prestigious fellowship program is dedicated to providing a structured pathway for aspiring protocol contributors to make meaningful advancements in Ethereum’s technology.

The EPF aims to bring together a diverse group of individuals to work on various aspects of Ethereum’s development, including client implementation development, testing, specification drafting, and core protocol research. Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with other talented individuals and engage with current Ethereum core developers.

Applications for the fifth cohort are now open until May 26, 2024, with the program running from June through November 2024. Two in-person events will be held at EthCC in Brussels and Devcon in Southeast Asia. Participants will receive mentorship from core development community members, and select participants will be provided with a monthly stipend to support their focus on the program.

What sets the fifth cohort apart are several new features, including an extended timeline from four to five months, two in-person events at EthCC and Devcon, and access to new resources from the EPF study group and epf.wiki. The EPF program is permissionless, allowing anyone to participate with the same access and support as selected fellows. A portion of the stipend budget is also allocated to rewarding active permissionless participants.

The fellowship program has a history of hosting outstanding fellows who have made significant contributions to Ethereum. Prospective applicants can explore the work of past fellows from previous cohorts on the third and fourth cohort GitHub repositories to gain insights into the types of projects that have been undertaken.
