Venezuelans made up 22% of all applications, followed by Cuba at 17% and Colombia at 8.3%.
California took in the most asylum seekers at 23%, followed by Texas at 12% and Virginia at 10%. The report also highlighted that about 79% of applicants illegally crossed into America before applying for asylum, thanks to the Biden-Harris open border policy.
