It is important to note that legitimate banks will not send SMS or emails with embedded hyperlinks directing users to their websites for transactions. Additionally, banks will never ask for sensitive information over the phone, email, or SMS, including any embedded hyperlinks.

If you have unknowingly shared personal information or conducted financial transactions on these fraudulent websites, please contact DBS Bank using the details provided in the press release. It is also advised to report the incident to the Hong Kong Police Force’s Crime Wing Information Centre at 2860 5012.
