Moving on to Europe, major stock markets like the CAC 40 in France and the DAX 30 in Germany ended the day in negative territory. Currency markets in Europe also saw a decline, with the EURUSD pair decreasing by 0.33%.
In the energy sector, oil markets had a mixed day with crude oil and Brent both seeing slight gains. Meanwhile, natural gas prices decreased by 2.02%.
In the US/Americas region, the Dow and S&P 500 saw slight declines, while the Nasdaq advanced slightly. In Canada, the TSX Composite ended the day in negative territory, while the Bovespa in Brazil saw a modest gain.
Lastly, in the bond market, we saw movement in yields across different countries, with Japanese and US yields showing slight fluctuations.
