At Extreme Investor Network, we are excited to share the latest updates from Circle in July 2024. Circle, a leading provider of Web3 services, has introduced key enhancements to its Programmable Wallets platform to improve the developer experience and streamline user interactions.
One of the notable updates from Circle includes the introduction of Social Logins and Email OTP authentication methods. These new features aim to simplify the onboarding process for users and enhance the transaction experience within user-controlled wallet systems. With a focus on speed and efficiency, developers can now leverage these tools to create more seamless interactions for their users.
In addition to the onboarding and authentication enhancements, Circle has also made significant API updates for the Solana blockchain. To align with Metaplex standards, Circle has updated the token standard ‘enum’ for fungible tokens from ‘FT’ to ‘Fungible’. This change impacts several API endpoints, including wallet balances, NFT listings, token details, and configurations for monitored tokens. Developers utilizing these endpoints are encouraged to review the changes to ensure compatibility with their projects.
It’s important to note that Circle Technology Services, LLC (“CTS”) provides these services as a technology provider and is not a regulated financial services company. The APIs offered by Circle do not include financial, investment, tax, legal, regulatory, accounting, business, or other advice. Developers can refer to the Circle Developer terms of service for more details on the services provided.
